You undoubtedly recognize that assignee housing is not only a ‘big ticket’ item in terms of cost but is also a potentially emotive issue in terms of policy. This doesn't even mention how complicated it has become as companies increasingly initiate cross-border moves into developing countries. It is essential that companies keep pace with current and trending practice in this cornerstone policy area. Accurate data on current and projected practices is key to supporting corporate mobility programs effectively. For this reason, Lexicon Relocation is partnering with the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) worldwide to conduct The 2016 Lexicon – FEM Global Housing Study and we would greatly appreciate your participation.

Your input will make a vital contribution towards creating an invaluable up-to-date reference work which will allow you to benchmark, adjust and/or (re-)design your global housing policies and processes in line with global best-in-class practice.

We are also asking service providers to take part and provide critical insight to how the management and delivery of the service looks on the ground, from immigration to destination service providers. This is a unique perspective as never before has a survey been sent to both service providers and corporate professionals. This decision was made to offer a fully-rounded and holistic view of the current and evolving housing challenges associated with expatriate housing worldwide.

The 2016 Lexicon – FEM Global Housing Study has been design shed light on the following:

• Current and trending policies and practices both globally and regionally – worldwide
• The assignees’ financial responsibilities with regard to the cost of assignment-related housing
• The assignees’ financial responsibilities with regard to the cost of assignment-related housing

Uniquely, our study will cover both temporary living accommodations as well as the more traditional longer term assignment housing

The Survey will close to participants on Friday, June 10, 2016. As a thank you for participating in the entire survey, we will provide you with a complimentary copy of the detailed survey report based on results of the survey. In addition, a lucky draw among respondents will receive 2 free tickets to attend one of the gala EMMA Awards dinners hosted by FEM at one of their upcoming Summits. Furthermore, participants will receive a high level Executive Summary of results prior to publication of the full survey findings.
