Two years ago, AltoVita conducted a global survey on how organisations manage and consolidate corporate accommodation costs across Business Travel and Global Mobility. The insights that were shared by Business Travel and Global Mobility leaders became the foundation of our white paper on the collaboration of these two functions.
Since then, several new programmes and RFPs have emerged that combine Global Mobility and Business Travel budgets, with a strong focus on duty of care, cost optimisation and employee experience.
We have launched a follow-up survey to analyse how these priorities have evolved and to understand the ongoing trends in collaboration, policy and spend management. Early results show that while 64% of departments don’t collaborate, an overwhelming 94% of those see value in joining forces, with cost optimisation through consolidated accommodation sourcing emerging as the top priority.
