A Long and Winding Trail - Trailing Tax Liabilities

Many multi-national organizations are unaware of or struggle with the global corporate reporting obligations that come along with cash incentive and equity compensation payouts to their mobile employees. Companies are concerned with the increase in global payroll audit activity by country tax authorities as the authorities view this as their “low hanging fruit”.

The purpose of this session is to define the concept of trailing tax liabilities, provide an understanding of the corporate payroll and other obligations around trailing tax liabilities, the data and process it takes to comply in this area, and share client and vendor experiences on how to tackle this ever-growing risk issue.

Speakers:

Robert is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Global Incentive Compensation Service (GICS) group, a part of KPMG’s broader Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice.
