THANKS AGAIN TO OUR HOSTS FOR THEIR WONDERFUL SUPPORT IN ORGANISING THIS EVENT!

Daniela Trifiletti brings to the discussion an encompassing approach that invites companies to re-think family and expat support, while evidencing that it is a service that should go beyond the expatriation stage. The solutions she has created not only will bring uncountable benefits for the employee and accompanying family member relocating to a new host country, but are as well a set of internal strategies that companies can implement in order to increase not only retainment rates but also to organically implement positive changes in the corporate culture.

Her findings are based on results of traditional and industry-based surveys, as well as on the hands-on experience she has acquired by working with some of the largest companies in Denmark as well as the personal and in-depth contact she has with various international communities.

Daniela Trifiletti is a communication and cross-cultural expert who over the last years has developed a series of services and solutions for companies that recruit international employees with accompanying family members. Her own personal experience, while settling and adapting in Denmark, was transformed into the successful blog My Danish Family. Through this journey she was able to pin point the missing gaps between the different stages of international hires and furthermore allowed her to identify the most needed elements to accomplish successful expatriations and to implement long-lasting retainment strategies. Daniela Trifiletti is part of the jury of the initiative Go Glocal, a project that aims to recognize those companies and individual organizations who successfully implement internationalization on their everyday making the city of Aarhus in Denmark a top destination for international employees and their families.
