On October 13 we held the inaugural meeting of the Prague Chapter. We had nearly 30 participants coming from the Mobility and the HR fields. With professionals from various international companies like Barclays, Novartis, HP, SAP, Teradata, JTI, Johnson Controls, MOL Group as well as service providers Crown World Mobility, PwC, Graebel, SIRVA and Voerman
For the keynote presentation a team from Deloitte CE did a 360 degrees view on cross-border roles from social, tax, legal and immigration perspective. Particularly interesting for our participants were the real life examples which attracted a lot of interest and questions for our experts.
After a short coffee break, Iva Kotrsalova (HP EMEA Mobility Head) had a panel discussion on – are Mobility and HR departments getting the “seat on the table” and how they are strategically positioned to support the business.
With a panel of speakers from Barclays, Novartis, SAP and Deloitte there was a valuable exchange of ideas and best practices to see how Mobility is becoming a strategic function in the centre of each business.
We received great feedback on both keynote presentation and panel discussion, our participants particularly liked the real life examples and the insights on the strategic positioning of the Mobility department within global companies like HP, SAP and Novartis.
We are looking forward to our next event planned for the first quarter in 2018 where we will be discussing some burning topics based on Global Human Capital Trends with focus on Localizations and Talent Mobility as well as immigration, compensation and benefits challenges around this growing mobile population.
Stay tuned for further updates.
