Meet International SOS' Dr Mark Parrish MB ChB, MHA, FRACGP, MRCGP, FRACMA!

Short term assignments and extended business trips are becoming the norm as businesses seek more flexibility to manage talent, meet business needs and explore growth opportunities in new markets. For global mobility professionals this means added pressure to navigate a variety of regulations, legislations and risk environments while ensuring employees have the support they need to stay productive. But these challenges also bring new opportunities to global mobility professionals to enhance their value contribution to the business. Dr. Parrish will share the five key steps GM professionals can take to enhance their value contribution by focusing on strengthening  their organisation’s approach to Duty of Care.

Dr Mark Parrish is the Regional Medical Director of Northern Europe for International SOS and as such is responsible for all the medical care delivered across the region.  Prior to this he was in Australia with International Health and Medical Services, a subsidiary of International SOS where he was responsible for the health care delivered across Australia’s Immigration Detention network by a team of up to 500 health professionals.

His background includes coverage of the Asian and Middle East regions for Microsoft’s health software business; healthcare consulting with IBM Global Business Services; CEO of North Shore Private hospital, a large private hospital collocated with a tertiary public teaching hospital; General Manager of Hornsby hospital, a 260 bed major metropolitan hospital in Northern Sydney; and a number of roles in the Royal Australian Navy and Royal Navy around the world including the Antarctic,  Arabian Gulf, Caribbean, Mediterranean and Pacific.

We look forward introducing Dr. Mark Parrish to the Nordic Network!
