Amsterdam Conference - Nathan van Muiden of Booking.com shares his thoughts on Global Mobility being a force of growth
Nathan will be speaking at our forthcoming Amsterdam Conference next week. Here's a small taster of what the panel discussion will include.
In anticipation of the panel discussion at FEM's Amsterdam Global Mobility Conference, FEM's Global Director of Content & Events, Claire Tennant-Scull, asked Nathan a few brief questions to find out what he is looking forward to discussing and sharing when we hear from him at Hotel Okura on 5th March.
This will be your first time speaking at an FEM Conference, are you looking forward to the discussion?
Nathan van Muiden (NMV):
From what I have seen attending these panels in the past, I'm excited to have a conversation about the different experiences and perspectives we come across when working on cross-border employment. Hoping we have some interesting questions come up!
You are taking part in Focus on the Future – Global Mobility as a Force Growth panel discussion, what sparks your interest in this?
Working in Global Mobility at Booking.com over the last few years, growth and change have been two of the key words to describe the company's course. For us an essential part of growing our business and improving our product for customers was to ensure that we could attract and retain top talented individuals in their crafts from all over the globe. Our relocation program towards the Netherlands has achieved huge milestones in supporting our business with this and we are constantly looking to see how we can use our expertise to enable our business to grow and improve towards the future.
Why do you think it’s important to attend events like these?
By attending events like this and more specifically the various talks by industry experts, I allow myself to take a step back from the business goals I'm working towards and think about exciting opportunities myself and our team can focus on moving forward. Equally important is the chance to meet new individuals in our line of work and build strong connections.
Bring your questions for Nathan and the rest of the panel at our Amsterdam Global Mobility Conference, Thursday, 5th March.
