FEM Amsterdam Conference - advice regarding the Novel Coronavirus
As we look forward to welcoming delegates to our Amsterdam Conference 5 March, FEM would like to emphasize that we are continuing to follow the WHO (World Health Organization) and local authorities advice.
The health and safety of our delegates is of the utmost importance to us. Our Emergency Response Plan has been activated as we closely monitor developments in the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) situation. Our approach is to continue to follow the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities’ recommendations. At this juncture, no concern has been raised over Amsterdam and there are no travel or trade restrictions in this region.
We are preparing to welcome the delegates of the FEM Amsterdam Conference 2020 and are looking forward to seeing you all in Amsterdam. All necessary precautions will be taken to provide a safe and conducive business environment to our delegates.
Onsite delegate information
In the interest of public safety and hygiene, we are requesting that all attendees take sensible precautions and avoid shaking hands or "faire la bise" (cheek kissing) to greet one another and instead use other methods, such as nodding or waving. We also encourage you to wash hands regularly using soap and the gel hand sanitizer that will be provided.
Special information session and Q&As
As this is a business-critical issue for Global Mobility teams as they manage their assignees around the world, we will be holding a special 40-minute Coronavirus information session with up to the minute information from Dr. Lars Petersen, Regional Medical Director Benelux, Nordic countries and Suriname at International SOS. This will include Q&As, so make sure you bring the questions that are important to your business.
