"Business Travelers" and "Brexit"

Organizations are growing rapidly, globally, virtually and digitally. This is impacting the operating models. Next to that, BEPS influences how organizations manage and report on their global workforce. Given this increased focus on mobile employees, organizations will need to pay particular attention to their Business Traveler population. Business travel may come with immigration requirements and payroll tax and social security obligations. Is your company aware of the population in scope? Do you have policies and processes in place? Is sufficient resource and knowledge available to manger your risks?
Next to “Business Travelers”, “Brexit” is on the agenda of this FEM event as well. As the UK moves forward with the result of the EU referendum, you might have questions as to how this will potentially affect your people agenda. Although there is a lack of certainty, we will highlight and discuss the implications this could have. You can think of topics like international labor law, social security, immigration and resourcing.
We will finish off the session with a discussion on the “Expat Spouses Initiative".
