What This Means for Employers and Foreign Nationals
Candidates may wish to seek their employer's assistance to apply for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or a Provincial Nomination (PN) in order to increase their score if necessary. Having an LMIA or PN adds 600 points to an existing score. Applicants without an LMIA or PN would have to wait for the next draw to see whether their score is high enough to receive an Invitation to Apply. This alert is for informational purposes only.
