Employers of posted workers will be subject to a EUR 40 administrative fee per employee, to be paid at the time the employer files the online posted worker notification. The requirement will enter into force by Ministry Order, and in absence of the order it will automatically take effect on January 1, 2018.

If an employer fails to file the posted worker notification, the contracting company or client must file an online subsidiary declaration with the local labor department and must instead pay the administrative fee.

What This Means for Employers and Foreign Nationals
Employers posting workers on temporary assignment will have to pay a new administrative fee online when they file the posted worker notification.
