The situation

All government offices in Costa Rica are closed today and tomorrow due to severe weather from Tropical Storm Nate. 

Weather permitting, government offices are expected to resume regular business hours Monday, October 9.

Implications for employers and foreign nationals
Foreign nationals should be prepared to reschedule today and tomorrow's government office appointments.
