A summary of the Brazil Chapter Meeting on October 27, 2017.

On October 27th, FEM Brazil hosted the São Paulo Chapter at Q Forma Itaim to discuss about the impacts in the Mobility world of the new migration and labor laws that will be launched in November in Brazil. The meeting had over 60 attendees.

At this Chapter meeting we had Diana Quintas (Partner at Fragomen) give some inputs about the migration law and about the requirements of having specific regulations for each topic contained in the law. We also had the opportunity of learning relevant information about the new labor law and about the law that regulates third parties service providers from Daniel Bettega (Director at Andersen Tax).

After absorbing the important information from Daniel and Diana, Mabel Vidal mediated a very rich discussion between the experts, GM specialists from Unilever (Patricia Tavares), Bayer (Débora Bigio) about how their companies are preparing themselves for these changes. There was a great interaction between the round table and the participants  that served to clarify all doubts on assignment implementation with the impacts generated by the changes. For sure this interaction enrichened our Chapter and  encourages us for next Chapters.
