The Detroit FEM Chapter took a deep dive into the topic of business travelers with the event “Best Practices in Assignment Management Technology”.

Alan Bell, VP Technology Solutions of Equus Software, presented on the topic of technology trends and assignment management technology. The discussion related to standardization versus flexibility, integration of mobility, and using data effectively.  We also discussed predictive analytics and future trends to come.

The discussion was based on the drive for efficiency in the support of global mobility programs.  The majority of organizations trends are forcing mobility software to be more flexible.  Data analytics and reporting is the main reason organizations invest in technology.   It is critical that mobility technology can be flexible in both the policy and corporate culture.
