On May 25th 2018 the new EU data protection regulation will come into force – around 20 Global Mobility experts took this as an occasion for a lively exchange about the topic with our EY specialists at the FEM event in Frankfurt on May 16th 2018.

After a brief introduction by Frank Jura (EY People Advisory Services, Immigration), Julia Wiencke and Claudia Bischoff from the EY Digital Law Team gave a comprehensive overview of the data protection regulation.

They presented interesting case studies and pointed out the new elements, innovations and conditions of the regulation, the regulation´s objectives as well es resulting duties and liability risks. We had many valuable and great discussions and received very positive feedback about this event from our participants. Many thanks to our participants and speakers for the great event!
