What Global Mobility Professionals Want

What global mobility professionals want, and our most consistent feedback from our surveys, is to know “what are others doing”. You want to know what others are doing with automation and AI, with outbound assignments, with short term assignments, with ‘trailing’ but career-orientated spouses, with policies, with global roles. These became our discussion topics for this session.

Brisbane Chapter Meeting on the 7th August 2018  was titled “What Global Mobility Professionals Want" and hosted by KPMG.

Hayley Lock, partner at KPMG and her team gave a brief overview of recent changes in immigration and tax and then facilitated a discussion with the Brisbane participants in a roundtable/speed dating format of the major discussion points. Some notes were taken to summarise table discussions and these are on the attached slide deck.

KPMG also released this publication this month: "The robot at your desk - your newest mobility team member" which is very topical / relevant to the discussion we had and so they have shared this link too.
