The Detroit FEM Chapter took a deep dive into the topic of “GDPR’s Impact on Global Mobility."

Hank Roth, Senior Counsel of Dwellworks, presented on where we are now with GDPR, what to be aware of, what employers should be doing, and the impacts beyond the European Union.  The attendees participated in an interactive discussion regarding the future of what DGPR may hold. 

We were also pleased to have Kimberly McCollum, Operations Manager of Fakhoury Global Immigration, present on the implementation of GDPR within the company with things to consider such as personal data, consent, controls, notification, concise policies, IT and training.
