We began the day with an inspiring keynote speech, from Stephanie Karpetas OBE, who brought a positive message about sustainability in business - and practical steps that every organization can take to make a real difference. She asked: Is Global Mobility Sustainable?

Then on to our first panel discussion of the day. We asked: Are your Risk Management Strategies in Need of Emergency Help?

Questions from the audience came in the traditional form, using a roving microphone...

In our packed morning agenda, we moved straight on to a choice of topics. In the Ballroom, Christine Sullivan of Fragomen gave delegates the latest updates on Attracting and Retaining Talent in Europe.

Meanwhile, in the Griffieon Room, Richard Inglis of SIRVA chaired a highly engaging conversation: Maximizing Mobility Through Program Design and Partnerships

Joining Richard on the platform: Robert Bartels of Tax Globalizers and Ida Smildiger of Kinross Group

Time to refresh with a well-earned networking break

Some chose to get some exercise (on a bike that also made smoothies)

While others got their stress levels checked (with a special chair that created a visual representation)

Back to the sessions: Delegates had to make a difficult choice between two really compelling Masterclasses.

In our last sessions before lunch, Fiona Williams of Aires used an interactive app to demonstrate the power of collaboration in her thought-provoking session: Ensuring Your Future State - High Tech & High Touch

In the Griffieon Room, Livia Mensah of Cigna presented an informative session on an increasingly important topic: How to Make Mental Wellness a Priority for Your Globally Mobile Workforce

Our networking lunch was a great opportunity to refuel, to catch up with colleagues and to make new connections
