FEM is delighted to confirm the winners of the 2016 Americas EMMAs!

This year proved to be one of the most difficult to judge with each entrant offering exceptional service, delivery and strategy. The Mobility industry is truly lucky to have such committed, dedicated and passionate experts.

Our evening was 'emceed' by Sally Martin, our newly appointed intermin Event Director, who kept the awards rolling. This was a great introduction to Sally to those not yet familiar with her and we hope everyone is as excited as us for her to step into the role next year at the 2017 Americas Summit!

With a host of people presenting the awards, the dresses were beautiful and the suits sharp!

The awards opened with SAP claiming the highest honour for Best Business Travel Framework. Our winners for Global Mobility Teams of the year went to Discovery Communications (Small Program), FIS (Medium Program) and EY (Large Program).

Lexicon Relocation, with their China 360 survey, took home Thought Leadership - Best Survey or Research Study of the year in a stacked category. With an increasing eye on Technological innovation and how it can support Global Mobility programmes, the assignee management technology award was won by Plus Relocation.

Best Vendor Partnership was split into two categories, with one focused on the crucial partnerships of Relocation Management Companies and corporate clients. The US Customs and Border Protection took home the highest honours for the support they have received from American Relocation Connections. The other category saw technology take the top two and shipping in highly commended - congratulations to Polaris Global Mobility for their technological support to Johnson and Johnson!

This year's rising star was James Krulder of International AutoSource. James' impact in a short tenure was realised by the judges who commented on his drive and passion. It was highlighted how auto needs continue to be an issue for arriving expats and James is ensuring the change and innovation to get it right.

Global Mobility Professional of the Year was a full category and we all are delighted for Glen Faulk of Luminary Global Immigration to take the honour. His expertise, commitment and high calibre leadership set him apart from his peers. Congratulations to Glen for this deserved recognition to his contribution to Global Mobility over the course of his amazing career!

Our night closed with the presentation of Outstanding Contribution to Global Mobility awarded to the inimitable Robert Horsley, Executive Director, Fragomen. Robert's commitment to innovation, constant push for progress and championship of best practice have spurred Global Mobility to some of its highest highs. There is so much to recognise and thank him for and we hope you will join us in the congratulations he so duly deserves. Stay tuned for later this week, when our very own Courtney Ellis-Jones will be sharing her interview with Robert.
