Introduce yourself in 100 words.

Christina Urrutia has over 15 years of experience in helping clients strategize around their Global Mobility policies – most recently responsible for the LATAM region. Passionate about the employee experience and client duty of care, Christina has spent her career advocating for relocating families to ensure that their relocation experience is the very best while minimizing the disruptions that often come with international assignments.

Why did you decide to partner with FEM and Lead their Chapter meetings?

Christina reached out to FEM to enhance her network beyond the US, stating that FEM brought new and exciting networking and educational opportunities.  After several years of residing in Mexico, Christina realized that there were not many options for connecting with other mobility professionals who understood the unique climate of relocations for the region.

What can delegates expect from your Chapter meetings?

Networking with your peers, sharing benchmarking and data, and learning opportunities to improve on our global mobility policies and resources. A community of industry professionals who understand immigration, tax, talent, human resources, and relocation service providers – where everyone can discuss challenges, trends, and experiences within the region.

What are some of the most important issues for global mobility professionals in your location?

Immigration and tax changes, cross-border moves, leveraging technology for collaboration and talent management, optimizing mobility policies and effective talent strategies.
