With all the safety issues, travel restrictions and extra workloads that the pandemic has caused this year, we at FEM took the decision to postpone all our awards – the EMMAs (Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards) until 2021.
However, as we all know, even when we are in the grip of a crisis, though it's understandable to focus on reacting to, and dealing with all the challenges, it is still important to take a step back, review our work and to acknowledge successes and lessons learned.
So, though we can't end our APAC Summit with the customary EMMAs celebration, we have invited three of our seasoned judges to use the EMMAs criteria as a framework to talk about excellence in global mobility.
In our closing panel discussion: Global Mobility – A View from the Top, Adnan Altaf of BAE Systems, Stephen Park of Schneider Electric and Shazy Tan, of Dyson will discuss with our Global Director of Content, Claire Tennant-Scull the distinct and ever-evolving qualities that a mobility team, individual or service provider partner need to thrive in this highly competitive industry - and in these unprecedented times.
We'll also hear from Stephen Park what it means to be a winner. Stephen was the recipient of the APAC EMMA for his Outstanding Contribution to Global Mobility in 2019 and having just taken up a new role, found that it significantly raised his profile and that of mobility itself.
