Summary:

The afternoon was opened by Frank Jura, FEM’s Chapter Lead giving a short introduction of FEM followed by a very interesting presentation of KPMG. Andrew Vincett, Partner at KPMG, introduced the audience to reasons and challenges arising through the increasing amount of non-traditional mobile employees. KPMGs Senior Manager Drew Lowthian shared insights from a recent panel discussion with NGO’s and how mobility is viewed there. Some interesting facts where shared that could also be applied to corporate mobility functions.

After the opening presentation the group split up to participate in one of the two round table discussions. Lonza’s Global Mobility Manager, Clair Rutherford hosted the table about challenges arising through changing workforce and Andrew Vincett headed up the table to discuss the impact on tax and social security compliance.

After the lively and very interesting discussions the chairs of each table shared their insights and take-aways with the whole group before the Networking-Apero.

We would like to thank all supporters and participants for this interactive and great afternoon!
