The meeting explored how Global Mobility operating models must evolve in response to increasing flexibility, rising business expectations, talent shortages and rapid technological change.
The session began with a thought-provoking icebreaker led by Tom Standring (Director Global Mobility, Takeda) on “Linguistic influences on how we think — and technological influences on how we use language.”
This set the tone for a highly engaging afternoon focused on reflection, exchange and practical learning.
Participants then joined four different roundtable discussions covering key transformation topics such as the integration of Mobility with Talent Management, the growing relevance of project-based international work, the opportunities and risks of increased flexibility, and the role of technology and AI in shaping future programmes.
The subsequent panel discussion provided valuable practitioner insights into how organisations are redesigning their Global Mobility functions to become more scalable, business-aligned and digitally enabled.
A very special thank you goes to our host Takeda, and in particular to Tom Standring and Kemi Ajisafe, for their outstanding support and hospitality.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our sponsors and supporters Jenny Elsby (WHR Global), Tracy Kautzmann (Impact Group) and Elizabeth Conti (BDO) for making this event possible.
