About Mavis-Afia Boateng
I am Co-Founder of YengKo, a place-decision intelligence company helping people and organisations make better-informed decisions about where to live, relocate and settle.
My professional background spans more than 15 years in strategic information, data, performance management and organisational decision-making across Africa and Asia. I have worked with international organisations, governments and multidisciplinary teams in roles focused on turning complex information into clearer decisions.
My own international work and relocation experience led to a particular interest in an information gap within the relocation journey: people can research properties, distances, amenities and destinations extensively, yet still struggle to understand how a place actually works in everyday life before important location decisions are made.
At YengKo, our focus is on that decision layer. We bring together local area intelligence, structured orientation and place-based decision support to help people understand not simply where things are, but what living there may mean for their routines, priorities and everyday experience.
I am particularly interested in global mobility, destination services, employee relocation, place intelligence, strategic foresight and the role better information can play in improving relocation decisions and settling outcomes.
