This, the final London Chapter meeting of 2017 will be a lively and informative evening where attendees can join a series of expert-hosted roundtables featuring mini case studies and discussions focusing on the hottest global mobility topics of 2018.

Our Master of Ceremonies will keep everyone circulating so that attendees can gain insight from a number of experts on their most pressing topics. 

There will also be plenty of time for relaxed networking over seasonal drinks in KPMG's 'Winter Garden' space overlooking the glittering Canary Wharf skyline and the River Thames.

Roundtables led by:
Sharon Christiaan, Chief Legal Compliance, Senior Immigration Lawyer and Behavioural Officer, Bisaf
Sharon has worked for more than 17 years in global mobility focusing on immigration, compliance and behavioural science. Besides immigration, she also focuses on the humanistic aspects of working across cultures, career continuation strategies, professional repositioning and coping with change. Sharon was short-listed for the Women in Compliance EMEA Award in March 2017, and is the Chief Legal Compliance Officer and Senior Immigration Lawyer at Bisaf Ltd. She specialises in identifying vulnerabilities and navigating uncertain landscapes that pose compliance risks. Sharon holds a Master’s in Law and is completing her MSc in Behavioural Science specialising in Bribery and Corruption.

Nicole Davis-Calinescu, Global Mobility Manager at JLT Group plc
Nicole heads the global mobility function at JLT Group, which provides insurance, reinsurance, employee benefits-related advice, brokerage and associated services. She is responsible for global strategic and operational mobility services to support the business effectively. Nicole has worked and lived in Canada, Japan and the UK, and has experience in professional services, DSP and in-house mobility.

Kamila Griffin, International Mobility Manager at DigitasLBI
Professional global mobility manager with over 10  years mobility experience in professional services, in-house, and destination services. Creating effective mobility policies and procedures to support global business strategy and growth with an eye to continually improve processes and efficiency. Advising and assisting with policy implementation and change, as well as exception management.

Christopher Hawkes, Director, Tax and Pensions – Global Mobility at KPMG
Chris has over 17 years of experience working in the field of global mobility. He has particular expertise in tax and pensions but also uses his experience (including his own time working overseas) to solve people-related challenges. Chris has also helped a number of multinationals to manage risk on short term business travellers; resolve disputes with tax authorities in the UK, US and around the world; manage the complex affairs of senior executives; design and implement global mobility policies, including reward and benefits; move into new locations for the first time and coordinate large assignee populations in multiple locations.

Georgina is the lead of KPMG’s own in-house Global Mobility team. 

Alison Shipitofsky, Head of Global Mobility Services (GMS) Operations at KPMG
Alison is Head of Global Mobility Services (GMS) Operations. This is a diverse role that incudes supporting the practice’s strategic vision with people, clients, and the overall operating model. Alison’s primary objective is to connect the GMS practices and teams globally. Her area of focus ranges from marketing and people development initiatives to supporting client services and reviewing engagement activities. Alison brings over 20 years of global mobility experience in this field. Prior to her operations role, she worked on the consulting side of GMS – specializing in the design and implementation of international assignment policies, benchmarking assignment programs, designing and coordinating surveys, process reviews of international assignment program administration, transitioning engagements. and communication plans.

Helen Walton, Director of Global Mobility at AstraZeneca Plc
Helen has for the past thirteen years led a team responsible for the design, development and delivery of high quality policy solutions and specialised programmes to support international assignments globally. In January 2011 her role was expanded to include one-time relocation globally and she is currently leading the relocation services for the strategic relocation of the UK scientific organisation and Global HQ to Cambridge.She has held a number of general and specialist positions in HR, predominantly within the pharmaceutical sector, and spent several years working within finance before assuming responsibility for global mobility. In 2010 she won the EMMA Global Mobility Professional award from the Forum for Expatriate Management and in 2014 the Outstanding Contribution to Global Mobility award. Helen has an MBA from Kingston University and a BA in Industrial Economics from Nottingham University.
