On April 19 2018 we had our FEM Chapter Meeting in Munich. Around 30 Global Mobility professionals attended the event where our presenters discussed taxation of German workdays in payroll and the new data protection regulation.

Jessica Schmidt – Senior Manager from EY - and Nadine Lehmann from BMW presented the BMF of 14 March 2017 and the corresponding challenges of work day taxation in payroll and gave some great insights into potential solutions.

Following, Peter Katko from EY gave an introduction into the EU data protection regulation and explained the elements and innovations behind the regulation, which duties and liability risks arise and what are the conditions and goals of the regulation.

We had many valuable and great discussions and received very positive feedback about this event from our participants.

The presentation is available for you here.
