Introduce yourself in 100 words.

I am an ordinary guy, with an outstanding wife and 5 amazing kids, who is on his own journey of imperfection. After a lengthy military and corporate career, I founded a training and coaching company called People Builders. From a home office in my spare bedroom, I have had the privilege of working in 25 countries (and many more online). My passion lies in bring out the best in people by rebuilding their internal dialogue and restoring their belief in themselves.

Why did you decide to partner with FEM and Lead their Chapter meetings?

Having been a supporter of FEM since 2017, and for the past 3 years their Worldwide Wellbeing Advocate, I have grown very fond of the amazing people in this community and want to build a committed team across Australia and New Zealand who can provide support for our members.

What can delegates expect from your Chapter meetings?

They can expect relevant content, practical coaching, and support from the many opportunities they will have to connect with their community. They can expect to be valued and to be heard.

What are some of the most important issues for global mobility professionals in your location?

The most important issue I see is the need for GM to have a voice at the strategy table. They are continually faced with high expectations to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This causes a lot of overwhelm and burnout, which can lead to disengagement and stress.

Ask a question for FEM members to start the discussion/engagement on your Chapter Page that could also help you to prepare for your meetings.

Let me ask you, what is the main thing that attracted you to a role in Global Mobility and what do you love the most about this community?
