For the final event of 2016 we will explore the question “what does it mean to be globally mobile” from a number of different perspectives. Perth based employers will share their insights relating to talent management, and the inclusion of global mobility in company strategy in the face of a market downturn.
We will hear from panellists with personal experience of being an expat on topics ranging from managing family transition during multiple assignments, to owning your career, and staying competitive in the international market. In addition we will uncover the latest mobility trends from recent cutting edge research in this area.

Natalia Roldan, Human Resources and Administration Manager ta Total E&P Australia
Natalia is a native Texan who started her career with Total at Total E&P USA in Houston, Texas. After 4 years in the US subsidiary, she was assigned to Total E&P UK as Head of Expatriation Management based in Aberdeen, Scotland. In 2012, Natalia joined the Career Management team in Total’s Head Quarters in Paris, France as Career Manager for the Contracts & Procurement population world‐wide. She relocated from Paris to Perth in June 2014. Prior to joining Total, Natalia worked in Bangkok, Thailand and for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Environmental Justice division. She speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently and holds a Degree in International Relations from Baylor University.

Barry Bloch, Chief Operating Officer Project Support at BGC Contracting
Barry brings extensive executive and functional leadership to BGC Contracting’s role of Chief Operating Officer – Project Support, with a career spanning more than 25 years, 50 countries and multiple economic sectors. Most recently Barry was Group Managing Director – People with Worley Parsons. Previously he worked in senior leadership roles for both ASX and FTSE top 10 companies and for leading global professional services firms, Heidrick & Struggles, McKinsey & Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Barry has specialised expertise in the People discipline in which he has worked for over 20 years, with a primary focus on organizational and cultural transformation or turnaround in both development and developing nations.
Caroline Hickson, Director - International Executive Services at KPMG
Caroline is a Director in KPMG’s Global Mobility Services practice based in Perth. She has 12 years’ experience assisting organisations with all aspects of their global mobility programmes encompassing employment and expatriate tax, mobility outsourcing, and consulting services including benchmarking, policy review and design, and mobility strategy.
Catherine Milliner, Health Hygiene and Wellbeing Manager
Catherine has had a diverse career of more than 30 years in occupational health, business and human resource management. Catherine has been was involved in the management of occupational medical clinics placing internationally trained Dr’s into small Australian country towns then, after a career change, became part of the INPEX HR Management team in 2008. In 2012 Catherine commenced the implementation of the Diversity and Inclusion function for INPEX in Australia. Catherine is Registered Nurse and holds a Graduate Diploma in business administration, a Bachelor of Science(health and safety) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Catherine is currently employed by INPEX as the Manager of Health Hygiene and Wellbeing.
Benoit Mengin, Deputy Director, Ichthys Project Coordination
Benoit joined the Total Group in France 28 years ago. He was in charge of developing business in many countries for Refining and Chemicals branch and now he is working for Industrial Projects Division in Exploration and Production branch. He has held various roles including Project Controls Manager role in Luanda, Angola for the Kaombo Project and most recently Deputy Director Project Coordination for Ichthys Project based out of Perth since February 2014. Benoit holds a Master of Econometrics and a Master of Applied Mathematics.
Frederic Aube – Project Accounting Manager
Originally from France, Fred has been living “overseas” for almost 18 years through various employers within the Oil and Gas industry. Following assignments with projects in Norway, the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Nigeria, Fred arrived in Melbourne, Australia in 2010 as the Finance Manager for the Bass Strait Asset with BHP Billiton. Lastly, Fred has been the Ichthys Accounting Manager with Inpex since the project was sanctioned early 2012. Fred holds a Masters in International Finance.
