Our December NYC Chapter meeting and Holiday Party: “Holiday Gift-Giving and Treats from Around the World” was another successful event at our wonderful host, KPMG’s, New York City office. A big thank you to our presenter of the night: Dean Foster, Strategic Advisor for Global Competency Programs, of Dwellworks Intercultural Solutions.

Pictured Above is Dean Foster presenting.

Dean shared his knowledge on holiday gift-giving around the world based on cultural differences. Attendees gained vast understanding of the do’s and don’ts of sending and receiving gifts from clients and business partners from diverse countries. Following Dean’s presentation, attendees enjoyed a lesson on wine from a trained and knowledgeable sommelier while tasting wine and food from other countries. In addition, thank you to all who contributed to the support of the Haitian Relief Organization. We raised $200; the funds will go to rebuilding Haiti’s southern region that was hit so hard by the recent hurricane.

Pictured above are attendees enjoying the wine tasting and networking reception.

If your business supports expatriates and is located within the New York City area - this networking group is a great event to attend.
